2022/2023 GES Academic Calendar For Basic Schools In Ghana
The 2022/2023 GES Academic Calendar For Basic Schools in Ghana has finally been released. The calendar as it is, is a continuation of the Trimester system unlike the previous semester based that saw a fierce contest by the teacher unions.
The Calendar has taken care of activities and the number of contact hours each level from Kindergarten/Nursery, Basic 1 – 9 (Primary) and the Junior High School are suppose to have.
Detail information on the resumption and vacation dates has also been provided and teachers are suppose to adhere to them especially, during the planning of teaching and learning activities, which includes the preparation of their lesson notes.
